OSCAR A. AGUIRRE MD, FACOG (Director)

Dr. Aguirre received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, and completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, serving as Administrative Chief Resident in his final year. He received fellowship training in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at Colorado Gynecology and Continence Center under the tutelage of G. Willy Davila MD, currently Head of Urogynecology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Florida. Immediately following his fellowship he assumed directorship of Urogynecology Associates of Colorado. In 2006, he established Aguirre Specialty Care. He enjoys his academic position as Clinical Instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He is a member of the American Urogynecologic Society, the International Urogynecological Association, and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Aguirre has an interest in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of urinary
incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. He is active in clinical research, having served as Principal Investigator or Subinvestigator in over
25 clinical trials.
